High Court approves £1.5 million compensation settlement for 24 year old whose cerebral palsy was caused by hospital negligence
Sarah was born at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading 24 years ago with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. She also has cerebral palsy which, it is alleged, was caused by mistakes made by hospital staff at the time of her delivery.
Acting on behalf of the claimant, Boyes Turner's medical negligence specialist Susan Brown says: "Sarah has a very loving and devoted family and I hope that the compensation will help them to continue to provide the 24 hour a day care that Sarah requires."
